Stage 5 Operational Level – Rescue Water Craft Course
This Stage 5 course is designed to provide professional development for operational use for Rescue Water Craft. This course includes instructor lecture, video review, and presentations. Stage 5 training is an operational readiness program for advanced boat handling. This stage includes stages 1-4, and is a skill based tier layered training with emphasis on vessel knowledge, preventative maintenance and effective balance points.
Students in this course will be participating as role players during skillsets. Students will be evaluated on operational skills. Students will be proficient with 16 standard criterion skills sets, launching and loading, survivor recovery and safe operations for multiple survivors onboard, (one to five). This course offers an optional 1 to 2 night operations segment. Safety Plan is in effect with all training modules.
